An oasis of calm: lunch on produce grown on site, under the trees
This community garden grows strawberries, herbs, potatoes in crates and baskets and recycled guttering. The constructions look like contemporary sculpture, except useful. Wander around the square and marvel at the ingenuity, then order a home-grown vegetarian lunch from one of the cabins. We had fennel and potato gratin on the benches under the autumn leaves.
