Cheapest and most satisfying bite to eat in Berlin
Students will queue for ages at this cult kebab stall. Try and go at odd hours to avoid the peak times, though it is worth the wait. The “Durum” is made with lightly spicy chicken, roast vegetables, salad, fresh mint and feta all rolled in a thin wrap. Full of flavour and crunch. Or get a pita overflowing with ingredients. They also have an excellent and filling vegetarian option. When they ask you which sauces, nod “Alle.” (All of them!) Rivals Paris’ L’As du Falafel for fast, fresh food. Best of all, it will cost you only €3.
